Daniel E. Reuter, JD is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Law (1978). He is a lifelong resident of south St. Louis County, and is the founder of Senior & Special Needs Solutions, LLC which focuses on serving the needs of seniors and those with special needs. Senior & Special Needs Solutions, LLC offers a broad range of services, including: planning for long-term care, preparation of estate planning documents such as powers of attorney, health care directives, wills and trusts and eldercare coordination. But the most important service offered is helping families define, organize, prioritize and implement their plans if and when they find themselves in need of support services. Mr. Reuter also serves as a fiduciary and assists in the administration of trusts and probate estates. Mr. Reuter's business is dedicated to protect and preserve his client's assets and their rights to choose good quality care.

Althea West, LTCP, GCM, Gerontologist is a member of the National Association of Geriatric Care Managers and is a long-term care planning consultant for trusted advisors as well as for individuals and their families. She is the Care Coordinator for Senior & Special Needs Solutions, LLC, and is an adjunct professor for Webster University and University of Missouri, St. Louis. Althea conducts educational workshops throughout the community and her main objective is to help older adults maintain their independence and dignity even when facing the challenges of aging. She also volunteers her time working on community-based service projects, and has won several awards for leadership and service. Althea brings a special empathy to her work - she had the full-time care giving responsibilities for her mother in the last year of her life, and understands the potentially devastating emotional and financial costs of caring for a loved one.

Susan Neal Pekios, MA, MSW
Susie has worked in healthcare since 1981, specializing in person centered, value based, advance care planning. With over 20 years as a hospital social worker and three years in hospice, Susie brings knowledge of the medical system's advance directives and marries it to the person's broader wishes for quality of life despite health issues and functional limitations. Her goal is identification of wishes, respect and ultimate honoring of these wishes. Susie does counseling in advance care planning as well as consumer and professional education. She holds the Consumer Education Committee Chair position on the Missouri End of Life Coalition and is the Vice President of the Gateway Alliance for Compassionate Healthcare.

Vicki Sexton, Office Manager
Vicki has served as a paralegal with the Reuter Law Firm (now doing business as Senior & Special Needs Solutions, LLC) since 1989. Her diversified services include everything from Probate, Medicaid and Estate Planning, to preparing presentation materials and assisting other members of the firm with special projects. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail provide valuable support for the staff.
Vicki's kindness and easy-going nature define the first impression for our clients. With years of experience and expertise in office administration, she handles all aspects of the day-to-day administration of the office and is an invaluable source of support and consistent professionalism.
Vicki graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City with BS degrees in Political Science and Administration of Justice. Before joining the Reuter Law Firm, Vicki was employed for several years as a clerk for the Associate Circuit Court of St. Louis County.
